A letter. Delivered to your door every month. For blokes who know something's missing - and aren't quite sure how to name it.
Bought by the women who notice. Read by the blokes who needed it.
Not a newsletter. Not a self-help book. A proper letter, from one bloke to another. Plus a few things to carry you through the month.
The main event. Personal, honest, a bit raw. Written as if you're mates who haven't caught up in a while. Because in a way, you are.
One line. Wallet-sized. Worth carrying.
A small thing worth doing. The kind a mate might suggest.
A few things worth your time. Something to read, something to listen to, something to get off the couch for. Changes every month.
Letters From a Mate is a monthly letter that gets posted to your door. Actual paper, actual stamp. Nothing to download, nothing that pings.
It's written by one person - me. Grew up in a small coastal town, ended up in Sydney. I started writing these because nobody really writes to blokes anymore. Texts, sure. But something worth sitting down with, that feels like it was written for him. That doesn't happen much.
Some months it'll land hard. Some months it'll just be a great read. There's no algorithm deciding when you see it. It just turns up.
Buying it for someone? If there's a bloke in your life who's hard to buy for, and even harder to actually talk to. This is for him. Not advice, not a lecture. Just someone saying the things that don't usually get said. He doesn't have to do anything with it. It just arrives.
Buying it for yourself? Then you already know why.
Not sure what to get him? This is the one he won't buy himself.
One-off payment. No auto-renewal. Just arrives every month for however long you choose.
